It isn’t something new to find chinese clones of literally any gadget out there. But the Chinese manufacturers now scaled up to new heights with launching clones of yet-to-be-launched gadgets. GooPhone, famous for its iPhone 4S clone back in 2011 has done it again with launch of iPhone 5S clone into the Chinese markets that runs the latest available public version of Android OS, Jelly Bean. The device seems to cost a mere $99 for the first 100 customers and $149 later on which is only a fraction of what iPhone costs in China. GooPhone took it way ahead by tweaking Android that looks very similar to iOS but as expected it lacks the smoothness of iOS and the apps of iOS.

The device is available in 2 colors just like the iPhone 5 as rumours suggest that iPhone 5S will sport the same design with changed internals. It runs Mediatek’s 1GHz MT6577 processor with 512MB of RAM, and has a 4-inch display with that same aspect ratio as in an iPhone 5. Ofcourse even by Android’s standards it still is a very poor specsheet but this phone will definitely deceive passersby to believe it to be an iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S.
This device is already up for grabs at $149 but only the black version of the phone is available as of now.
